Cabinet Painting & Refinishing

Kitchen cabinet painting in Toronto

A new kitchen look in days, not the months a full renovation takes. We pull your doors and drawers, spray them in our shop with catalyzed conversion varnish, and reinstall a hard, factory-smooth finish that holds up to daily use.

What's included

From your kitchen to our spray shop and back

The durable finish comes from spraying in a clean, dust-controlled shop rather than brushing in a kitchen full of cooking grease and airborne dust. We label every door so it goes back exactly where it came off, down to the hinge.

  • Doors and drawers removed, labelled, and taken to our shop
  • Degreasing, hand-sanding, and deglossing every surface
  • Bonding primer so the topcoat grips slick old finishes
  • Catalyzed conversion varnish or premium 2K urethane, sprayed
  • A hard, factory-smooth finish with no brush or roller marks
  • Reinstall, hardware swap, and door-and-hinge adjustment

FAQs

Cabinet refinishing questions, answered

How long does kitchen cabinet refinishing take?+

Most Toronto kitchens are done in 5–8 working days from removal to reinstall. Doors and drawers are sprayed in our dust-controlled shop while the boxes and frames are finished on site, so your kitchen stays usable through most of the project.

What paint do you use on cabinets?+

Catalyzed conversion varnish or a premium 2K urethane over a bonding primer. These are the same commercial-grade coatings used on factory cabinet lines — they cure hard and stand up to daily kitchen use far better than wall paint or a basic enamel.

Will my cabinets look brush-painted?+

No. Every door and drawer is sprayed, so there are no brush marks or roller stipple — just an even, smooth surface in the colour and sheen you pick. Spraying in a controlled shop is also why the finish lays down flat and stays free of dust nibs.

Can you change the cabinet colour completely?+

Yes. Dark, white, or two-tone — we colour-match from Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams, Sico, or a custom-tinted swatch you bring us. We'll spray a sample door first so you can see the exact colour and sheen before we finish the full set.
